Balls and Cows is a hidden-combination puzzle. Each guess gives information about correct values and their positions. Confirm the interface's feedback labels before playing, since translations can vary.
Separate two questions
First ask which values belong in the hidden combination. Then ask where each value belongs. A value can be correct while its position is wrong; those are different clues.
Keep a short record
Write down each guess and its feedback. A compact table is enough:

Make the next guess informative
Change a limited part of the arrangement when testing a hypothesis. If you change everything without a reason, it becomes harder to understand which change explains the new feedback. Eliminate arrangements that conflict with any earlier result.
Example of useful elimination
If feedback establishes that none of the tried values occurs in the solution, exclude them from later guesses. If every value is present but none is correctly placed, retain the values and test their positions instead of introducing unrelated ones.
Finish the round
Watch the remaining attempts and use the event's stated scoring rules. Claim the result when the game ends and inspect the delivery window. This guide describes the reasoning method; availability and prizes depend on the active Velocity event.
