MU Helper: hunting and pickup setup

Configure an automatic hunting routine that can sustain itself.

MU Helper repeats the routine you configure. Set up combat and collection separately, then observe a short run before relying on it.

Configure combat

  1. Open Helper settings through its button or the standard Z shortcut.
  2. Select a learned attack that you have already tested manually.
  3. Choose a conservative hunting range so the character stays near the intended spot.
  4. Configure recovery and available buffs. Choose potion thresholds that leave time to survive another hit.
  5. Save the settings, start Helper and watch a complete combat-and-recovery cycle.

Start with one reliable attack. Add more behavior only when you understand what the first setup is doing. A wider range may pull your character away from a party or into a dangerous group.

Configure item collection

Choose whether to collect broadly or use selected categories and named items. Include the materials and tickets needed for your next goal. Test a named filter with a known drop before assuming it works; spelling and the client's matching rules matter.

Unrestricted pickup can fill the bag with low-value equipment. An overly narrow list can leave useful items behind. Review what was collected after the first few minutes and adjust the filter.

Make the routine sustainable

Watch HP, MP, AG, Zen, durability and free inventory space. If Helper repeatedly stops or uses supplies faster than you can replace them, reduce the difficulty before increasing the range. Keep recovery items available and inspect the in-client operating cost.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Check
No attacks Selected skill, learning requirements, weapon and MP/AG.
Character wanders too far Hunting range, pursuit behavior and starting position.
Wanted drops remain on the floor Pickup category, item-name filter, range and bag space.
Frequent deaths Recovery threshold, buffs and the strength of the monsters.
Settings seem unchanged Save the settings and restart only the Helper routine.

For a party hunt, agree on the spot before starting. See party basics and farming efficiency.

Illustrated walkthrough

Validate the configuration with evidence

After saving a change, run a short hunt and inspect Hunting Log. Look at kills and experience as well as damage. A skill setting that produces larger hits but leaves long MP/AG pauses may reduce progress.

Change one setting per test. If the problem is wandering, shorten the range before changing the attack. If the problem is missing loot, test the pickup filter with a known item before changing the map. This makes the next adjustment explainable.
