Pentagrams add an elemental equipment layer. Errtels fit compatible slots and contribute additional effects. Inspect elemental attack and defense separately from the ordinary weapon and armor values.
Read the Pentagram
Check its element, equipment requirements, grade, open slots and existing Errtels. A name alone does not tell you how complete the item is. Compare a filled Pentagram with an empty one by including the components in the price.
Understand compatibility
Normal and Mastery systems have compatibility rules. Do not buy an Errtel solely because its element matches; inspect its grade and the intended slot too. Radiance has its own special handling, so read that slot and item's description directly.
Set up and verify
- Equip a compatible Pentagram in its designated slot.
- Open its detail interface and inspect available slots.
- Check the proposed Errtel against the target slot before inserting it.
- Open the character's elemental information and review the resulting values.
- Test against the same monsters to see whether survival or damage improves.
Element relationships
The character interface can show attack and defense relationships against other elements. Use the displayed comparison for your equipped setup rather than assuming one element is best everywhere.
Before an upgrade or removal
Read costs and failure behavior. Removing an Errtel is not automatically risk-free, and a temporary event on another server does not establish safety here. Verify the in-game operation before committing a valuable component.
For a difficult new map, check your elemental defense as well as your armor. See character information.
Illustrated walkthrough
Read the slot layout
The numbered positions identify separate Errtel slots. A locked slot still needs its own unlock requirement.
The five standard Errtel types are Anger (also called Fury in some translations), Blessing, Integrity, Divinity and Radiance. Slot type and equipment grade are separate checks from element. Normal Errtels can have a different element from the Pentagram; do not treat identical element as a universal insertion requirement.
Level and rank are different
For normal Errtels, level improves an existing rank, while rank advancement opens another option tier. In a rank combination, distinguish the main item you retain from the secondary item consumed as material. Inspect both slots before confirming.

Create or enhance at Adniel
The standard elemental NPC is Adniel. Mithril is associated with creating a normal Errtel; Elemental Rune is used for enhancement. Pick the operation first, then match the requested materials. A creation result can be random, so it is not equivalent to buying a specific completed type.
Radiance and Mastery
Radiance uses the fifth-slot unlock workflow; an empty-looking locked slot is not ready for insertion. Mastery changes the progression model and uses compatible Mastery components. Read the target item's grade before following a normal-Errtel rank recipe.
Diagnose a purchase before spending
Write down the Pentagram grade, open slot type and intended effect. Compare the candidate's requirements and tooltip with that list. This prevents three expensive mistakes: buying the wrong grade, buying a duplicate for an already-filled type, or confusing an upgrade material with finished equipment.
