A useful party combines reliable damage, survival and coordination. Simply appearing in the party list is not a guarantee that you qualify for every experience or boss reward.
Start a coordinated hunt
- Agree on the map and a meeting coordinate.
- Send or accept the party request through the interaction menu.
- Confirm everyone can enter the destination and survive its monsters.
- Choose a common hunting area and avoid Helper settings that scatter the group.
- Agree who maintains support buffs and how valuable ground drops will be handled.
Experience and boss rewards
Party experience can depend on level, distance, party composition and server rules. Use the Velocity experience guide for local settings. Do not assume an experience percentage from another server applies here.
Boss currency participation is a separate system from ordinary party leveling. Read shared boss rewards, stay within its requirements and distinguish currency awards from items on the ground.
Support habits that help
Refresh buffs before they lapse. Tell the party when you are returning to town or going AFK. A support character standing out of range may not be helping the teammates who need it. If one member repeatedly dies, choose a safer spot or adjust the group's formation.
Resolve loot expectations early
Decide whether special drops go to the finder, a particular character or a shared sale. Verify an item's actual class and options before deciding who can use it. Do not infer automatic distribution just because the party shares experience.
Check whether the party improves the hunt
Compare steady progress over similar time periods. Count interruptions, travel and deaths along with kills. A stable party on a manageable map often makes a better session than repeatedly recovering from failed attempts on a harder one.
