Find Bombs is a deduction game about uncovering safe spaces while avoiding hidden bombs. Read the active event's rules for lives, scoring and controls before beginning.
Understand a clue
A revealed number describes bombs in neighboring cells. Use the surrounding revealed and unrevealed cells together. One clue may not be enough; overlapping clues are what allow you to eliminate possibilities.
A simple example
Suppose a revealed 1 touches only one remaining unknown cell. That cell must contain the one bomb counted by the clue. Mark or remember it using the controls available in the game. If a different clue already has all its counted bombs identified, its other neighboring unknown cells are safe under that clue.
A disciplined turn
- Review newly revealed numbers.
- Identify clues with only one possible arrangement remaining.
- Separate confirmed bombs from mere guesses.
- Open cells that the clues establish as safe.
- Repeat the review after each new reveal.
When no forced move remains, acknowledge that the next choice contains uncertainty. Do not treat a guess as confirmed information when reasoning about the rest of the board.
